Not only is it a Royal Wedding, but it's the first time a future King has ever married a Commoner, I believe.
Surely that was the Diana and Charles first. I sincerely hope William's choice of wife is far better than his father's (although he did at least get it right second time round). That said it is an historic occasion and as such I will be watching and wish them both happiness.
