I think that we can draw a comparison between people who eat meat - particularly red meat - and revel in the fact, and smokers who exclaim the joys of sucking smoke deep down into the lungs - and then adding the inevitable, "you've got to die of something!"

Sure, we're all going to die, but chopping years off ones time on earth is pretty stupid!

Also, those who follow a proper "green" diet will, I'm sure, stand a far better chance of being healthier in their later years.
