We sailed into Dublin from Hollyhead some years back. Stayed overnight in Swords (good session at a pub there) and then drove on to Listowel the next day. We were stopping in Listowel for a while but we did an easy day trip to Dingle via Tralee from there. It's easier than you may think provided you allow enough time.
