This was supposedly an official site. However, I did not see a date that it was updated so don't take this as gospel.
I agree that train might be your best bet. Tralee was sort of a disappointment to me although I did not explore it..train station is big and you catch buses to Dingle from there..I will look those up shortly. If you stay in the B&B I mentioned (It is also one that Steve what's his name stayed in), the husband will take you on guided archeological tours..a bit heavy on where Ryan's daughter was filmed but very informative. he is a former police chief.
