The snobbish Royal Horticultural Society banned gnomes from any entry in the garden displays at the Chelsea Flower Show. Anyone putting a gnome in among the flowers would immediately be disqualified. Silly stuck-up twits! Gnomes are much-loved, and essential to any garden, IMO. Bring your fishing rod, Dave, and come and stand in my garden, you're most welcome!
