Words and music by Cal De Voll
Chicago: Forster Music Pub. Inc., ©1930.

Dreaming dreams of yesterday.
Seems I hear a whippoorwill upon a hill so far away
Calling me; that's why I say:

It's a little whippoorwill's sweet song when evening breezes blow,
Calling me so sweet and low: CHORUS
