I suppose it's true, leeneia, these little girls don't really know what they're singing about, thankfully. But it's still very distasteful. IMO, a show like that should be principally funny, and full of silly sketches, impersonations, slapstick etc., and a few folk songs, action songs and a final 'Goodbye' type of song. I must have put on literally hundreds of kids' shows over the years during teaching and Brownies, there's loads of good stuff you can do which does NOT include wiggling around, crooning about 'babe' and 'kiss me slow' etc. YUK!
