The Hearme plugin which consists on NPEVP.dll and NPJac.dll resides on a users computer and controls how the computer communicates with the Hearme servers and such items as text entry.

Aines site correctly references the file HearmeVCC.jc at Hearme's site (some don't mainly because of a bug in an older version of the plugin which is exploited to give users the power to disconnect a room) so any upgrades made at Hearme will result in a download of a new plugin for all users (except some Netscape users because smart update isn't smart).

The latest version of the plugin is 1.2.1.8 and it has been around for several months so I can't imagine that users are suddenly finding a problem such as the inability to enter text. I can only imagine this problem is down to the setup of an individual PC.
