You've given the game away. Yes I was a mod, but I couldn't afford a scooter so I used to ride pillion with my school mate Derek. I met up with Curly Pete and Fergie and Silkie at my 60th birthday which I had at the Everyman bistro over a year ago. Alan Langley is a real name from the past and Pirate John took me for my first Indian meal on Commutation Row. What happened to Greg? who was always pissed in the Post Office pub.
