Sorry Elly we've been digressing, when and where are the celebrations, I'm originally from Eccles and was in the 28th Eccles/ 2nd Worsley Sea Scouts, the troop was founded by my late Father on 21st October 1951. Our headquarters were in the Old Oil Warehouse, now converted to housing, which is close to the Packet House, although I'm not sure it was called that when I was a lad. I would be interested to learn more.
