I have been avoiding Chrome for a very simple reason: Google accesses the information of everything you do Chrome in their archives. While their search engine may be great, I value my [little remaining] privacy too much to surrender it willingly.

There are also questions as to whether or not Google is likely to defend your right to privacy if an agency wanted it.
