Anybody know the source (nationality? original language/text? author? English title/text?) of the presumably European-folk song I just posted on my website at http://www.geocities.com/lilandr/kantoj/diversaj/Erinaco1.htm (it's got the melody in the background if that helps, or you can get the MIDI by clicking on the link below the text). The story line runs thusly:
