Subject: RE: chorus song suggestions
Mmario, I've run into the same thing at renfaires! Even to the point of being asked not to do a song that another group used to sing but *didn't anymore.* Also, I really like the Pyrates Royale! Are you familiar with the Crimson Pirates from NYRF?

Okay. Songs that come to mind:
- "Johnny, I Hardly Knew You"
- "Rocky Road to Dublin"
- "All Through the Ale"; the only version I've heard at faires is the "All For Me Grog" with the noggin' this and noggin' that -- there are variants, like this one, that I like much more.
- "Barley Mow" is a good sing-along and...well, "upbeat" is an understatement...
- "The Whistling Gypsy Rover" and "Queen of Argyle" aren't exactly upbeat, but they're good for singing!
- "Whiskey, You're the Devil"
- "P Stands for Paddy," particularly as the Bedlam Boys do it.
- And I know someone probably does "Tom of Bedlam" already, but if they do "For to see mad Tom of Bedlam," you could do the "From the hag and hungry goblin" version.

Hope this helps! Let us know what you end up singing.

Cheers,
Megan
