Well, I'm glad he agreed with himself, but I don't see how that in itself would cause a band to break up....

I believe Ian Tyson was, in approximate order, a commercial artist, rodeo cowboy, folk singer, songwriter, working cowhand, rancher, cowboy singer/songwriter, and rodeo cowboy again (cutting horses - the "old man's rodeo event," not that I'd try it at any age). There was/is a lot of overlap, of course.
