I'v run that scanner on two machines thus far. It might be worth noting that on the first machine, running the full scan, I went to bed after about 7 hours, so I know only that it took "longer than that." I suspect "more than 12 hours(?)." This is my "big machine" with lots of record/data files. It showed 380,000 files scanned at 7 hours, and the scan was somewhat more than 500,000 files.

The second (smaller) machine full scan took a little more than 8 hours, with womewhat fewer than 400,000 files, but it's a laptop with much slower drives.

The program can also run a "quick scan" that checks only "likely places" and probably is a lot quicker, but I haven't run it that way.

When you click to get the file, you have the option to "run" or "save." It might, for some, be worth saving so that you can run the quick scan, and then - if needed - run the full scan overnight without needing to download again.

The program has a "ten day license," and should quit working after ten days. Since the threats change continuously it will be obsolete by then anyway, so you'll need to download again to get the latest version if you need to run it again after that. Downloads are unlimited, so you can get a fresh copy as many times as needed.

On both of our computers, it removed a couple of items that our other AV had ignored, but nothing that it found was anything I would have worried about. (We have excellent AV and aren't "adventurous" when browsing.) Anyone who finds a significant infection might want to bookmark the scan-download page. If you picked up malware doing something you do on a regular basis, your odds of getting another one from the same place are somewhat higher, so you may want to make reruns of this tool as easy as possible for later re-use.
