This is incorrect. He came to the Kong and Queen club, London, in the winter of 1962 when I showed him to a seat and asked martin Carthy to ask him uo for a song as he had brought a guitar with him. In the interval Dylan asked to speak to me about folk music and it was after this that Martin recognised him from a Sing Out front cover.
