I saw a report that,unlike Bin Laden, Mladic was armed, with two guns on him at the time he was arrested.

Incidentally Mladic's body count of victims appears to have been significantly higher than Bin Laden's. The only relevance of that is that it rather undercuts the suggestion that Bin Laden's execution was justified because he was was uniquely evil.

Anyway, it's good news about Mladic's capture. And I'd suggest that in some ways capture, trial and imprisonment for the rest of his life might be a worse punishment form him than shooting would have been. Good.
