I always thought a woodchuck was some kind of bird!! (sorry, very ignorant!) After reading your delightful posting, I just looked up some photos on Google, and it's a dear little rodent a bit like a miniature beaver! Also, I didn't realise (ignorant again!) that another word for them is groundhog. Always thought a groundhog was a small pig! You did ever so well, olddude to save this little family.
