Charley Noble: I think it is fair to say that "When in danger..." is due to Anon. It is at any rate very widely known.

McGrath: That's the kind of thing. If you or I said I wished the Moslems would drop dead, rot, and go to hell, that would be stupid and rude, but it would be within the bounds of free speech. Persons with state power, IMO, because their ability to do harm is so greatly magnified, can reasonably be held to a stricter standard. For such persons to call publicly for people to rob & kill each other and put the police power of the state behind that call is IMO too flagrant to require a trial.
