The Budget Override option gives the ability to set different budget amount
for different months in the future. The amount set in the Set Budget screen
is the default amount for the current and future months. In case if you need
to increase/decrease the budget just for a specific month in the future, you
can do this in the Budget Override screen.


That sounds to me like making a revised forecast.
