Linda has come into her own as an interpreter of Mexican music. Her newest album
"Canciones de Mi Padre" is wonderful. I think Linda was one of the most versatile
singers who could do almost any style from "Pirates of Penzance" to rock and roll,
"Heat Wave" and "I Think I'm Gonna' Love You For a Long Long Time".

I don't agree that her material choice didn't hold together well. She was popular for
a long time and you don't get that way unless you make good choices for the public.

I remember her from the days of the Stone Ponys and "Different Drum".

I had the pleasure of teaching her guitar one summer in L.A. She is a lovely person.
