Well I can interpret, note I don't read the dots...I just use them as a guide to where to put my fingers. Its what I hear that tells me how to play it. As someone once said I can play any tune I've heard (as long as someone gives me the dots). ;)
I'm trying to play by ear...but tend to end up just 'memorising' tunes instead.
