Jackson Browne visited Liverpool on a solo tour a few years back; now, Jackson has been my favourite singer/songwriter since 1971 but I refused to pay the silly prices.
For one thing, because it was just Jackson - with no band members to pay, I thought the entrance price should have reflected that.
   Of course, if Franz Liszt or Django were to visit Liverpool(and they both did way back) I would consider dipping that much deeper into my pockets.
