If memory serves, Chris LeDoux had some excellent, genuine Country-Western, from his early days in the 70s and on and I *think* his son and his band try to continue that, though I couldn't swear to it. I've also heard a few kids of some of the oldies who sound pretty good, too.

I enjoy a lot of the older stuff. Morgan - the grandson, and I had a blast listening to Hoyt Axton, today, esp. Boney Fingers and the one about Della and the Dealer and a dog named Jake and a cat called Kalamazoo.
