Sorry to hear about Amos's problems Muppett and I hope everything turns out well for the little fella.

That's some walk you are doing to raise funds for those deserving organisations and I am proud of you.

I was half tempted to join you on a stretch of the walk until I worked out that you are aiming to walk just short of 24 miles each day, up hill and down fell, so don't think I would be able to keep up with you!!

But I am more than happy to sponsor you and I will pledge 15 pence per mile. That works out at £24.75 for all 165 miles, so let's call it £25.00, which I will give you at Whitby Folk Week in August.

And a pint or two of good ale in Dent this weekend to build up yer stamina!
