My daughter has a Kenmore (Sears) frige, about 15 years old now. No problems. We have had several Sears products over the years, and few problems. A kitchen stove was one, and quite good, but then we decided we needed a two-oven, and found another make on sale that fit the bill.
We had a Sears riding lawnmower when we had a little farm, and even used it to keep a couple of trails through the woods clear. Belts from Sears were expensive, but the supply store for our service garage had the right ones and very cheap. That was our complaint- Sears parts were expensive, and took forever to deliver.
