JON ~ I think the problem is with either the phone lines or the ISP. At first I thought it was my computer which had a 133 MHz processor. However, my new computer has an 850 MHz processor, set up for high speed internet connections and still has the same problem. There are two other ISP in the area with one having both microwave and telephone connections. We are only about 3.5 miles from the microwave tower, however about one mile of that is rather heavy forest. They did bring out some equipment but could not get a signal from the tower. I think I'll try to get them to hook me up with someone else in the area using their phone service so I can ask them some questions about their connection speeds.
