So a guy gets the chance to write about musical ethics in the New York Times and all he can think of is old, old lyrics that aren't PC anymore?

How about:

playing music so loud and powerful it damages hearing?

using music to promote ethnic hatred?

using music to promote drug abuse
(how many people have died at rock concerts?)
