100 divided by ten is ten. That's simpler. 12" times 32 pounds per slug is sluggish. Mass shouldn't be where you go on Sunday morning to pound the bible. Heck, you were in the biz... think of all the time you wasted with that antiquated system.

My slide rule (over 40 years old) sits on my desktop and I use it more that my calculator for design work on accounta the calculator is too slow. The calculator is "accurate" but I leave that for the techs who fine tune the contract quantities... often they are off my estimates when the contracts are over but that's why we write in the +/- 15% rule.

Of course, I use Cadkey and AutoCad (AutoCad is a piece of shit compared to Cadkey but money talks eh?) for a lot of stuff, but my sliderule is cool when I am doing estimates.
