In 1974, a movie was made about Peterborough luthier Terry Philpot. It followed the building of a lute in Terry's workshop. I wonder if it's possible to get hold of this film. Has it been digitized? I found this description by googling, but no info about how to obtain a copy: "Terry's Lute. Douglas Canton. Terry Philpot, a young craftsman, makes reproductions of medieval instruments."
