My signed copy of the Paul Simon Songbook "To Bill and Rog: Thank you for the bed, the meal and the conversation" from 1965 just before he went back to the US and global fame I must have bought it just a few weeks before he stayed with us.

The album was released in 1965 and was deleted when S&G made it big. I think that it had a very limited release in the US before being withdrawn. Finally made it to CD in 2004.

Just reminds me of a time when I was eighteen and was sharing a flat with my friend Bill who I haven't seen now for about 40 years after he moved to Africa.

I still have the album but it is very worn through much playing.
