Thread Name: What is your rarest/most valued CD/LP?
Subject: RE: What is your rarest/most valued CD/LP?
Most of my most valued music didn't cost me anything, thanks partly to the kindness of both friends & strangers and partly to sparing use of download sites* (I avoid downloading anything that's commercially available, although I have made an exception for a couple of albums which have been re-released on CD-R by D. Bulmer*). This includes albums by Peter Bellamy, Nic Jones, Tony Rose, Shirley Collins and Tony Capstick. I'd pay money to replace them legitimately.

Speaking of Capstick, I wouldn't part with any of his LPs, even though I only got them in Oxfam a couple of years ago. One of a kind.

*If anyone wants to discuss either of these controversial topics could they do it on another thread? I don't want to hi-jack this one.
