Hi Les - I can't add much more to the list in the post above except to say that most of these free sites have restrictions on the videos that can be posted - purely for space reasons. So you may have to post videos on specialist sites like YouTube or Vimeo and embed the code into your website. If you want a blog/website with a large amount of space for videos, then you'll probably have to pay.

I'd also be wary of uploading Word (.doc or .docx) files, as some people may not be able to read or download them. Conversion of verbal documents to PDF (Portable Document Format) is probably better.

Lots of mp3s will also take up file space - even at around 3-4Mb a pop. I used to have a page of free, downloadable mp3 files on my own web site, but had to take them down as I was rapidly using up my Gb allocation - and I pay for my website!
