People want to believe there is some evil cabal running the elections because they have a conscience about politics but are somehow afraid to try to do something themselves. Or in the case of self-described liberals and Obama, they think that if he doesn't give them EVERYTHING they want, today. Then he is no better than the asshole who just left. But really that is just another excuse for political laziness.
