Update via friends from the Texas Scottish Festival

"Update on Alex: Beth tells me that Alex is doing much the same for the moment, but because of the cervical collar/neck brace he is having some difficulty swallowing/eating so they may go to a feeding tube for a while. He is doing his breathing exercises, ...though, and his lungs are sounding better. He can move his toes some and they plan to begin physical therapy today or tomorrow. They have seen the surgeon but are still waiting to see the neurologist. He flirted with the cleaning lady and call Beth a "pain in the arse" several times (possibly the meds...or not). Please pass this on to anyone and continue to think strong, healing thoughts.
