I have posted this before, but a friend on the edge of town had a female skunk that raised a litter under his porch. He has a cat, who got along fine with the skunks. When the kits were big enough, the family wandered of into the bush.
When I was a kid, I had a friend with a pet skunk, and another had a coyote. Foxes also tame. "Wild" animals are not permitted as pets here.
