I was lucky enough to see four games in the 2003 World Cup. One of the matches was the US against Norway, a rivalry matching that of the Celtics/Lakers or Red Sox/Yankees. As a US citizen having lived in Norway, that was a great game, especially when the US beat them. I don't have many fond memories of my three years in Norway, so it made the victory that much sweeter. What I was sorry to find out was that, because of that defeat, Norway was knocked out of the Olympics the following year. Like I said, it's one of the best rivalries in sports, in my opinion, and it was too bad not to see them play each other in the Olympics.
