Smoking cigarettes is a completely daft way to get your nicotine. Kills you, and pollutes the place with fag ends, which can last for years.

Smoking a pipe is a lot better, and can make you look reliable and honest. But I'm always puzzled by why hardened nicotine addicts seem to ignore the much hallowed option of taking snuff. No hassles about non-smoking areas or having to go outside in a pub.

That's leaving aside the simplest option which is of course just to give up entirely. I do that because while I think for most people it in in fact a simple option, clearly for many people it isn't, presumably because their brains or bodies are wired in some different way.
