Dorothy, my pit bull does that. I have a couple of tubs of water in the yard and she's in and out all day long.

I had a flat of tomatoes to process this evening. There are six half-pints of sauce processing now, and tomorrow I'll heat and season and can three quarts of juice. I didn't have Dean's food mill (an efficient one with a crank to run everything through easily) so after steam juicing I used my old Foley food mill. It worked, (usually it sits with the antiques on top of my kitchen cabinets!) but it's messier and a lot more grinding for the result.

We've been teased by clouds overhead for part of the time every day this week, but no rain. You were lucky to get your little storm, Dorothy. I'll set my washer to go during the middle of the night and hang out a load on the line tomorrow.
