The Bedford is very welcoming, and has several rooms. R B is quite right about the noise in the bars. Tried to start a session in the lounge adjacent to the reception last year... during the week. Before it could get going, a group of singers turned up, and stood, singing in the reception. They, being by far the loudest, we moved on.
