Great idea! I'm Penicuik based, so any others in the Edinburgh area, please get in touch. Might make St Andrews once in a blue moon, if it becomes regular. Cookin' session this Saturday (21st) and 3rd Sat of month, in the Leadburn Inn, on A701, 15 miles south of Edinburgh, 8pm - camper vans welcome in car park, b&b £20 (haggleable for musos) 01968 672952. The Taybank in Dunkeld is also a must, if you're passing. Last time I passed, I didn't go in, and found out later that I'd missed a Monday afternoon sess with Dougie MacLean, Graham Mulholland, Pete Clark, Leo McCann, and John Morran! It would make an ideal meeting place - it's got a rail station, and £17.50 B&B. 01350 727340. If we can't arrange one place suitable for us all, how about we get together in smaller local groups to start with? There's a Public Meeting on the future of Traditional Arts in Edinburgh/Lothians in the Pleasance Cabaret Bar, Edinburgh on Mon 30th Oct, 6.30 pm. Come along and be vocal, and there's sure to be a sess, somewhere, after. Rob
