Ball lighting was ruled out 35 years ago. First because I touched them and I was not shocked. Second, They did not rapidly bounce off walls as ball lighting behaves, they passed smoothly and very slowly through walls (brick and wood) and third, the distance between them did not vary despite having grounding oppositely charged items closer to one than the other. Finally I was not burned by bright electricity or plasma, the glow was a barely perceptible globe of a soft nebulus haze in the enviorment of a dim room illuminated by only one low wattage incandescent light.

I learned a great deal about electomagnetics and dimensional physics as a result of the incident. Earth lights that are produced by a pizeo electric glow being released from granite undergoing pressure changes was also an early contender for what I saw.

Another way to describe what I saw was a single point existing two places at the same time do to a small deformity in spacetime.
