sirrah: condescending or contemptuous term of address to men and boys. XVI. Early forms syrra, sirah, also serray, sirry, surry, later (XIX) siree, prob. alt. of late ME. disyll. pronunc. of SIRE.

It is found in generous application in the plays of Wm Shakespeare, and is attested as early as the 1500's.
