One the kickboard below a kitchen cabinet needed replacing. I went to the lumberyard, had them cut plywood into a strip. I sawed it to length, sanded it some, primed it, painted it. I tried to attach it, but I didn't do it so well, and it fell off.

Instead of helping me attach it, my husband threw it away.

That was a few years ago, and that space is still open, rough-looking and dirty. I've decided to ignore it. I can't do everything.
