Subject: RE: Films I alone haven't seen{apparently}
By posting I'm not suggesting there's anything bad about them--I didn't see them so I don't have an opinion. There are lots of good and not-so-good storytellers out there in movie-land, but I rarely see their work. When I'm not on the computer a lot of my time goes into practising, rehearsing (lately mostly voice & handbell ringing but the stringed instruments still come out periodically) or I'm out with the dogs. And there's Mudcat.

Tangent: I'm thoroughly baffled by the common type of media coverage of movies, as to which one made the most millions last weekend at the box office. Is that supposed to be a meaningful measure of the stories of a culture? I wouldn't know if that is movie makers' own press releases or if it's just another example of what passes these days for journalism.
