JOY! a breeze and about ten minutes of steady rain. Not near enough but hope for more? Sure better than none! Spent the morning hoping, while weeding and solar-drying a load of laundry - ALL dry and then the rain. I held off yesterday because it was "supposed to rain". This morning I hung it - "so it would rain!"

Getting a handful of tomatoes every couple days but it is escalating. R enjoys his fresh from the garden handful. The flower beds are holding up well and have continuous bloom; I feel successful!

Ah, the rain is coming again! It was wonderful to be able to work in the yard with the breeze and cooler air. I have the front and back doors open so the breeze blows through!

In the country, I worked in the studio parts of fri through Monday and have near a small kiln load drying on our wonderful "new" shelves. Got some more of studio organized as I will soon need a glazing work area. Now can work on dark clay on one wheel - I LOVE my "new" kick wheel! And on white clay on the other kick wheel. I am starting to feel really organized and I feed on it! Success breeds success!

Was going to go back today but giving bod a break; also felt need to get the yard work caught up and I am very glad I did. The fingers were complaining the other day but I took extra glucosamine/MSM and they recovered. Changing types of movements is important. The potting exercise has made it easier to do the stretching and bending of gardening. I feel more flexible already.

i wish I could send you southerners this lovely breeze!!! AND the gentle, steady rain!! It is totally delicious.

That whale video is awesome. It came to me last week via wildlifeontario (yahoo group) and I sent it to a few people who appreciated it. No doubt the whale was aware it was being rescued! If only all humans could see these things and realize how intelligent other animals really are.

I expect tomorrow to be a potting day.
