It seems there are lots of "bawdy" songs for women to sing, and many (if not most) audiences can enjoy hearing them. But one type of song that doesn't seem to work as comedy nearly as well when sung by a woman, as when sung by a man, is the sort like "I Don't Look Good Naked Anymore" or "I Wish They'd Do It Now."

Maybe I'm wrong - and I hope I am - but it doesn't seem like the 'joke' in songs like this works well for women singers.   

Can anyone think of a song like this, basically lamenting the loss of youth and vigor and beauty or the lack of "getting any," that is done by women and gets the same kind of positive reaction as the male counterpoints do?
