Appetite all to pieces yesterday, and migraine type sickness in the afternoon . Woke in the night with non-migraine head, so today all messed about as well.

Yesterday morning I did go on the local authority's "Health Walk" with some interesting people. Not a particularly interesting walk, as the leader was a bit under the weather, as well. We did discover where a dog walker lets the dog foul the middle of a rape (canola?) field. Just the one dog, on many occasions. Out of sight of everywhere, just making walking the path a hazardous business. I'm not at all sure about why the local authority does this. Tuesday at the neighbouring village, Wednesday at ours. No information about where we go, just walking - not at any athletic pace. Leader at the front, who takes a register so that they know who they've got in case of accidents. Person at the back with first aid equipment, which they are not allowed to use, just make available to us to use on ourselves if necessary!

Today I cleaned out the salad drawer in the fridge, necessary because of the appetite loss. There is some very expensive compost forming in the bin, which I have watered heavily to suggest moving to the ants. I need to do some weeding of the kneeling down variety. Somehow, some nettles have arrived, and they must have come from my compost, since there aren't any around here to seed into the garden. The top of the garden is becoming jungly. The potatoes in their bags are growing to my shoulder height, and some of the tomatoes are tall, too. Not looking too healthy, though. I got a Chinese meal for supper, to save cooking (and it will do lunch tomorrow as well), though earlier I made some bread and then a ginger cake in the machine, and cooked beetroot in the pressure cooker, to be chopped and frozen in portions tomorrow.
