I think the proper maintenance solution for my yard would probably be a couple of (mountain) goats, but the city's been giving me lots of static about my proposed rezoning to "junkyard." I've offered substantial and convincing evidence from several aspects other than lawn maintenance.

Fortunately, during my energetic youth I saved up a substantial reserve of "lazy" and "IDGAS," which I now use (cautiously and judiciously) at every opportunity.

Point is, if you forget about the thermometer and just "be reasonable" the weather is less important than other things, like friends and family (even if all that are left is mostly the cats).
