I changed vehicles in June. My last one had an in-dash CD, the new one has a trunk mounted one. I would never get a trunk mount again. I had no skipping problems with either, but I do an awful lot of driving and I listen to many types of music. I just found it a lot more convenient to be able to change CD's whenever you want instead of having to pull over and reload the trunk mount unit. Also, the cover of my trunk mount unit is already broken. I use my trunk a lot (two kids in Minor Hockey, both goalies) and I find that sometimes I wish I had a little more room in the trunk.
